With the development of technology, humanity invented the "smart" robots capable of detecting human brainwaves—the "PreCogs." The "PreCogs" can detect a person's criminal intentions, allowing the police of the crime prevention organization to arrest and convict criminals before they commit their crimes. Jon (played by Tom Cruise) is a supervisor in the crime prevention organization. After successfully preventing a double homicide triggered by infidelity using the "PreCogs," Jon vaguely senses the secret hidden within this perfect crime prevention system, which is the minority report. It turns out that three "PreCogs" judge whether a person has murderous intentions. When there is a disagreement, the decision follows the majority rule; however, if the minority side is proven correct later, a minority report is secretly preserved. One day, Jon wakes up to find himself the target of a manhunt by his former colleagues. Jon's only way out is to find the minority report that can prove his innocence...
