One day in 2013, Ryan (played by Chris J. Murray) moves into a large house with his wife Emily (played by Brittany Shaw) and their sweet eight-year-old daughter Layla (played by Ivy George). With Christmas approaching, the atmosphere is joyful and festive. Ryan discovers an old camcorder and hopes to capture every happy moment of his family. However, he starts to notice strange occurrences from the very first day of filming. As night falls, their daughter begins to exhibit bizarre behavior. Meanwhile, Ryan and his brother Mike (played by Dan Gill) find several videotapes made by the house's previous owners 20 years ago, and the content stuns them. The "invisible being" that only the daughter and the camera can see turns Ryan's family's life upside down…
