Torajiro (played by Kiyoshi Atsumi) is a young man who spends his days dreaming strange dreams, always fantasizing about being a visitor from outer space. However, his reality is filled with challenges and hardships. After returning home one day, he accidentally gets involved in a dispute that frightens his uncle, who has just been discharged from the hospital. Upset, Torajiro leaves home and arrives at a small village. There, he meets a young man who is going through the pain of a breakup. Through conversations and confessions with Torajiro, this young man gradually overcomes his emotional turmoil and decides to go to Tokyo to unwind. In Tokyo, they enjoy an exciting musical performance, where the outstanding acting of actress Nanako deeply moves them. However, Torajiro develops feelings for Nanako. Nevertheless, even in the face of parting, their ten-year love overcomes all challenges, leaving behind affection and regrets.
