This time he travels all the way to Hokkaido, enthusiastically staying at a local farm to help out, but falls ill in just three days, and thanks to Ms. Sakura (played by Chieko Baishō), he is taken back home. However, Tora has not learned his lesson; just as he is about to leave home again, he reunites with Mari (played by Ruriko Asaoka), whom he met in Abashiri, Hokkaido. Mari, determined to become a singer, has been traveling alone across Japan, suffering many hardships.
