This is an adventure story about a little girl, Wendy (played by Rachel Hurd-Wood), who lives in the Victorian era. Born into a repressive environment, she is constantly stifled by a rigid and stubborn father, crushing her childhood joy and dreams. Wendy's good friends, John and Michael, also suffer the same pain, dreaming of one day learning to fly, so they can escape their hated home. Finally, on a dark night, the little flying boy Peter Pan (played by Jeremy Sumpter) flew to their window, saying he would teach them to fly and take them to a beautiful place. Wendy, John, and Michael were overjoyed and quickly learned to fly with Peter Pan, soaring to a beautiful island—Neverland. It turns out that Peter is a mischievous child who never grows up on Neverland. He lives on this island with Tinkerbell, but both feel somewhat lonely, so they invited Wendy and her friends, the three human children dreaming of flight. Upon flying to Neverland, Wendy was immediately captivated by the beauty and mystery of the island, which is filled with dense jungles, tall trees, fierce Native Americans, and the notorious pirate Captain Hook (played by Jason Isaacs). Peter took Wendy and the others to find six or seven hidden tree holes, which became their home on Neverland. They usually explored the pirates' depths during the day and returned to their tree holes to rest and play at night. Wendy, John, and Michael could have happily enjoyed playing on Neverland, living joyfully with their mysterious friends, Peter and Tinkerbell; however, the notorious pirate Captain Hook arrived with his crew to wreak havoc. The brave Peter Pan must rescue his friends and escape from Neverland, leading to an intense battle with Captain Hook…
