This film is written and directed by Xu Xiaoming, filmed in 1982. The story describes the early Yuan dynasty, where the Yuan general Mang Yitu (played by Chen Guantai) eliminates anti-Yuan elements; the Anti-Yuan Alliance's Qianlong Gang faces external troubles and internal strife, with the deputy leader Shi being assassinated and the leader Fu Yi also passing away due to illness. The elder in the gang, Teacher Kuang (played by Gu Feng), along with others, then elects the young leader Fu Zhongyuan (played by Hui Tianci) to succeed and take responsibility for retrieving the Dragon and Phoenix staff containing the alliance list. Unexpectedly, during the ceremony to confirm his position, Madam Shi (played by Liu Yali) suddenly bursts in, presenting two letters proving Zhongyuan is of Yuan descent. Zhongyuan finds himself at a loss for words and secretly seeks the truth about his identity.
