Car repair technician Chen Zhongda (Chin Pei) accidentally encounters car cover worker Huang Xiaoping (Ching Li), and they part ways unhappily due to misunderstandings. Later, seeing Chen waiting for her in the rain, she gradually develops feelings for him.
