This film is a romantic comedy directed by the great director Yue Feng in 1967. The story describes Mrs. Chen, who has two daughters: Jieyu (Shu Peipei) and Meiyu (Li Lili). Jieyu is already working, while Meiyu is still studying. At the same time, the Chen family has a vacant room for rent, and Shaoqi (Yang Fan) comes to rent it; they hit it off immediately. Jieyu's three older sisters all married their tenants, so Jieyu's cousin Zhao Jinglan (Lin Jia) decides her mother should follow suit and rent a room to find a husband.
