The story takes place in a small town located in Hokkaido, which operates primarily through agricultural productivity. The farm run by Kanari (played by Yo Oizumi) is responsible for producing milk and beef. Aho's plantation grows natural, pollution-free vegetables, while Uncle Otani supplies the town with dairy products. These producers are interconnected and indispensable. Asada is the head chef at a hotel, embarking on a journey around the world in search of precious ingredients. Upon arriving in the small town, he discovers the true essence of gastronomy. Yōtarō (played by Masaki Okada) escapes to the town to flee the pressures of urban life, and in this place, he finds a new beginning and decides to start a fresh life. Each person who has been hurt or feels lost about the future finds direction and motivation to move forward in the town.
