Five young people who had just attended a wedding in Canada were driving back when they were stopped by a border patrol car near the U.S. border. They were ordered to pull over for a routine ID check. The border officers seemed suspicious, and their questions became increasingly harsh. One of the young men's background appeared to attract the officers' attention, even angering them. The young people tried to remain composed, after all, they hadn't done anything wrong except having a broken taillight and being "caught" with marijuana. But then, the conflict escalated. One girl attempted to get back into the car to retrieve her medication, but she was stopped by the police, who began showing their aggressive side. The young people were all handcuffed.
