Moritz Bleibtreu plays a famous German journalist who travels to Moscow on a business trip. Once there, he puts his work aside and immerses himself in the local nightlife. By chance, he meets a mysterious woman and becomes embroiled in a political conspiracy, ultimately paying a heavy price.
