The story takes place in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, where a series of murders have plunged residents into deep panic, catching the attention of Ambassador Clark (played by Antoaneta Yordanova). Clark approaches Agent Robert (played by Christian Slater), hoping he can investigate the case, uncover the truth, and bring the murderer to justice. Burdened with this important task, Robert immediately begins his investigation. It turns out that the mastermind behind this string of cases is a woman named Vicky (played by Elika Portnoy), whose tragic childhood experiences have left her with a mental illness. Even today, she is still undergoing treatment from psychiatrist Kahn (played by Timothy Spall). Coincidentally, Kahn and Robert are long-time friends, and Robert, troubled by the case, is unaware that the person he is desperately trying to find is hidden right beside him.
