In Tsinghua Garden, four people are standing at the crossroads of their lives. Among them are the first-generation university students born in the "00s," who have just experienced the college entrance exam and, after many twists and turns, successfully entered their dream school; a doctoral graduate about to leave the ivory tower and facing difficult choices; a young teacher returning from the U.S. to take a position at Tsinghua, full of lofty ideals yet facing numerous challenges; and an elderly academic who, in his advanced years and after retirement, still insists on standing at the podium. The film narrates the ideals of these four Tsinghua individuals over the course of three years, as well as the eternal youth belonging to this university behind them.
