In Shanghai's French Concession, three murders occur in quick succession. The three seemingly unrelated victims all share the same name: "Zhong Ming." The killer is skilled in using highly toxic hidden weapons and joint-lock fighting techniques, exhibiting an extremely high level of psychological resilience, likely making him a cold-blooded assassin with exceptional skills. Detective Chief Zhong Lang (played by Lv Liangwei) teams up with Yu Shengnan (Li Ruosi), Kang Huasheng (Xu Liang), and Hong Xiaoya (Ma Cancan) to conduct a joint investigation. Initial findings raise suspicions in Zhong Lang's mind.
