In the caves of Chattahoochee National Park in the Appalachian Mountains, Juno (Natalie Jackson Mendoza), Sarah (Shauna Macdonald), and a group of six experience the most terrifying moments of their lives, with only Sarah escaping by a stroke of luck. Following this, the police deploy a large number of rescue personnel to search for the bodies of the victims and possible survivors, but ultimately find nothing. Officer Rose (Krysten Cummings) is responsible for questioning Sarah about the events of the disappearance, but Sarah has no memory of what happened. To find the survivors and uncover the truth, Rose takes Sarah back to the cave system, where they meet rescue team members Casey (Anna Skellern) and Greg (Joshua Dallas). They enter the caves through an abandoned mine entrance and soon discover the bodies of Beth and others.
