Pasqualino is a small-time thug from Naples, Italy. Because he has seven sisters, he is referred to as "Seven Beauties" (which means "pretty boy" in the Neapolitan dialect). To maintain the so-called family honor, Pasqualino accidentally killed a brothel owner and managed to evade legal judgment by claiming insanity. When World War II broke out, even those with mental illness could enlist, so Pasqualino found himself on the strained front lines in Germany, ultimately becoming a deserter captured by the German army. In the concentration camp, Pasqualino witnessed unimaginable torture; in order to survive, he decided to flatter a German female officer with his body and emotions... Pasqualino, a youth from Naples (which means "clown" in the local dialect), has seven sisters, all fat and ugly, yet they are called "Seven Beauties." The youngest, Pasqualino, wants to uphold the family's dignity, appearing every day with an oily face while leaving his seven sisters and mother at home to do needlework and survive. One day, he accidentally killed a petty thug. After the outbreak of World War II, he was captured and sent to a Nazi concentration camp, where a fat German female officer demanded sexual services from him, and he had no choice but to comply to save his life. Later, he became the captain of the prisoners and was forced to kill a man who refused to surrender.
