The girl Yezi (played by Mizusawa Nako) lost her parents at a young age and grew up in an orphanage. After reaching adulthood, Yezi decides to search for her biological parents and learns that they currently live in the Nanjou mansion. Yezi embarks on a journey to the mansion with her teacher, Sei (played by Horibe Keisuke). Due to the severe weather, Yezi is allowed to stay overnight in the mansion. At dawn, Yezi sees her father, Nanjou Keisuke (played by Noguchi Goro), for the first time. The reunion brings joy to both Yezi and Keisuke. However, Yezi also sorrowfully discovers that her mother, Yuko (played by Asano Atsuko), lost her sanity due to an accident in her early years and has become insane. Yezi moves from the orphanage to the mansion, but strange events that occur afterward make her begin to suspect that there are unknown secrets hidden within the mansion.
