In the city of Ankh-Morpork, modern technology has made significant advancements. People gradually forget the traditional postal system and turn to the more convenient and faster internet, Clarks. However, Clarks is unstable; the system often crashes, leading to slower network transmission speeds. The lord of Ankh-Morpork, Vitenary (played by Charles Dance), can no longer endure Clarks' tyranny and slowness, and decides to revive the already collapsed traditional postal system. Vitenary identifies the best candidate to revitalize the postal service as Mauritius Van Liewig (played by Richard Coyle), a sharp, cunning little conman. Just when it seems dire, Vitenary appoints Mauritius, who is about to be hanged, as the head of the postal office. Mauritius, unable to escape, is forced to lead a group of the old, weak, and disabled to confront Clarks... This film is adapted from Terry Pratchett's novel of the same name.
