The game "The Wolf Eats the Sheep" has three rules: the first is to avoid suspicion; the second is to deceive friends; the third is to eliminate friends. Owen Matthews (Julian Morris) transfers to Westlake High School, where he meets new friends, including Daozhe (Lindy Booth) and hot-headed Tom (Gerrard Paddock). They are all members of a "Lying Club" and often play a game called "The Wolf Eats the Sheep," which emphasizes disguise and deception. One day, a young woman is murdered near the school, and the police have no leads. The "Lying Club" decides to turn this story into a "campus ghost story." They spread false information online, fabricating a psychopathic killer nicknamed the "Evil Wolf," claiming that "the next victim will be a classmate at the school." The members of the "Lying Club" become deeply intoxicated by the thrill of concocting lies, only to find that the lies become reality! Classmates begin to meet unfortunate fates.
