Wu Jiawei (played by Zou Cheng'en), who works at a television station, typically uses his skills and collaborates with his friend Ah Guai (played by Liu Guoshao) to shoot videos about folk customs and curiosities, sharing them online to earn advertising revenue. He and his girlfriend Lin Shuyi (played by Xia Yuqiao) are about to get married, and in order to raise funds for the wedding, he and Ah Guai head to another location to film a mysterious meat zongzi ritual.
