Freshman psychology student Song Duoduo (You Le'er) at a medical college has been experiencing a terrifying nightmare lately involving three masked figures asking for a ghostwriter. Occasionally, she also sees the drowned female ghost while awake. Duoduo and her friend Bai Ni (Yang Manyu) join a club called "Ghost Stories," and one day, they, along with Jiaojing (Tao Zui) and Qi Xiaochuan (Chen Bingqiang), receive a new task from the club to find a white skull in an abandoned medical school teaching building. As night falls, Duoduo and Bai Ni agree to meet at this terrifying location, rumored to have hosted the suicide of a senior student whose body was preserved in formalin, leading to ghost stories about the building.
