However, on a snowy night, Joo-yeon, driving home alone, is brutally murdered and dismembered. Soo-hyun is devastated and finds photos of four main suspects, starting an independent investigation to find the killer. After some investigation, he finally zeroes in on a middle-aged man, Jang Kyung-cheol (played by Choi Min-sik), who is a driver for a certain academy. Jang, with a troubled life and a twisted personality, often attacks women returning home at night and kills them mercilessly. Soo-hyun finds Jang's hideout and administers brutal punishment, but ultimately shows mercy. Surviving by luck, Jang is instead spurred by his beastly instincts, leading to an increasingly intense showdown between beasts... This film also contains excessively bloody scenes, making it the first commercially released film in South Korea to be restricted.
