Public relations officer Stu (played by Colin Farrell) is secretly having an affair, hiding it from his wife. To avoid her checking the phone bill, he sneaks out to a public phone booth to call his lover. Just as he steps inside the booth, the phone rings. Despite not knowing who is calling, Stu instinctively picks up the receiver. A dark, monotonous male voice immediately warns Stu not to hang up, or he will end up with blood on the streets! Naturally, Stu ignores this prank-like warning and is about to leave the phone booth. At that moment, a gunshot rings out, and a passerby falls to the ground. Terrified, Stu is frozen in place.
