Dr. Herbert West and his assistant Dan Cain attempt to revive the dead once again. They procure body parts from the victims of the Miskatonic Medical School massacre, aiming to place Dan's ex-girlfriend's heart into a "perfectly assembled" body in an attempt to recreate his girlfriend. However, unexpected results occur, and Dr. Hill returns for revenge with only a head.
