On what seems like an ordinary day, nurse Anna (Sarah Polley) is preparing to enjoy a joyful weekend with her husband Louis (Justin Louis), unaware that a terrifying and deadly plague is spreading wildly. Those infected by the plague lose their humanity, turning into bloodthirsty, brutal zombies.
