In a quiet and peaceful town in South America, a young boy named Amadeo (voiced by Rupert Grint) is obsessed with foosball in the local bar. His exceptional skills win the approval of the girl Laura (voiced by Eve Ponsonby) and allow him to defeat the arrogant boy Grosso (voiced by Diego Ramos). Years pass, and the children have grown up, but Amadeo’s love for foosball remains unchanged, even as Laura prepares to go study abroad and he can't find the right words to express himself. One day, Grosso, now an international star, suddenly returns in high spirits. He buys the town and plans to build a luxurious stadium called the Galaxy Arena. Ignoring opposition from his blind date, Grosso is the first to demolish the bar that once humiliated him, and he takes Laura away. Amadeo is devastated, but unexpectedly, the wooden foosball team captain comes to life. Faced with his old comrades who have fought alongside him for years, Amadeo seems to muster the determination to save Laura and the town… This film is adapted from Roberto Fontanarrosa's short story "Memoirs of a Right Winger."
