In an ordinary school in Spain, nine teachers unexpectedly die one after another, causing widespread panic and leading to the imminent closure of the school. At this critical moment, the struggling young teacher Modesto (played by Raúl Arévalo) comes to apply for a job. He has the ability to see ghosts, but no one believes what he says; he is diagnosed by a doctor with mental illness and delusions.
