On a forest road, the expressionless Jack (Matt Dillon) picks up a woman whose car has broken down. The woman, thinking herself clever, is annoyingly talkative, and ultimately, Jack kills her with a jack. This incident seems to open a door to hell for Jack, leading him down a devilish path filled with blood and ice. He harbors an obsessive and extreme pursuit of beauty, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness both materially and spiritually. He designs the perfect house for himself, yet often tears it down completely due to dissatisfaction. During this time, the act of killing gives Jack immense pleasure. He prides himself on being a "refined gentleman," targeting women as his prey.
