Princess Yulan of the Ming Dynasty (voiced by Luo Yujuan) travels to Japan to compete against the smartest person there. General Yiman (voiced by Liu Beichen) sends Ikkyu (voiced by Wang Xiaoyan) to face her, and the result is that the princess loses. Ikkyu's intelligence makes Yulan admire him, and she insists on becoming his wife. With no choice, Ikkyu takes Yulan to Anguoci Temple.
