The story revolves around a pair of close friends played by Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) and Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice). Katherine (Moss) suffers a series of setbacks, bringing her emotional state to the brink of collapse. To clear her mind, she retreats to a secluded lakeside house, which belongs to her best friend Virginia (Waterston). However, she cannot find peace there either.
