The introverted young man, Ikki Meiura (played by Ryo Hachio), collapses mentally after the death of his girlfriend, Shoko (played by Yu Abiru). After a period of treatment, Ikki returns to society and begins working at a model manufacturing plant. There, he meets new friends and unexpectedly encounters the company's female boss—Tomie (played by Yu Abiru), who bears an uncanny resemblance to the deceased Shoko. All the male colleagues at the factory revolve around Tomie, obeying her every command, nearly to the point of madness. Tomie seems to live in fear of being killed, instructing the men to seek out enemies who intend to harm her. It turns out that Tomie is an immortal woman; her severed body can infinitely regenerate, and Tomies kill each other. Ikki cannot forget Shoko and does not wish to be involved in the factory's crazy atmosphere. However, as more Tomies appear one after another, he becomes deeply entangled in the situation...This film is adapted from the horror manga series of the same name by Junji Ito.
