A classic suspense horror film directed by Italy's greatest master of horror, Dario Argento (Deep Red). An English musician in Rome reads about the brutal murder of his neighbor in a mysterious book on ghosts. He visits the author of the book, only to discover that she has also become a victim of murder. As the musician unravels the mystery, he experiences many strange and terrifying events. The film is highly stylized, featuring heart-pounding rock music and a well-crafted atmosphere of horror. The Italian version is over 20 minutes longer than other versions, containing more scenes of bloody violence.
