Exhausted train worker Joe (Ed Speleers) has just completed a long journey. After handing over duties to his colleagues, he returns to the changing room to find that his promotion application has been rejected. While feeling particularly frustrated, he is ordered by the new supervisor to cover a night shift on a train heading to Dunbar. As the train slowly starts, Joe listlessly announces travel information and then begins his routine ticket checking. Perhaps the only thing providing him with a bit of motivation during this tedious journey is the beautiful conductor Ellen (Holly Weston). After briefly setting aside his work, Joe finds a quiet corner to fall into a deep sleep, only to be suddenly awoken by a huge jolt. For some unknown reason, the train comes to an abrupt halt on a hillside. Driver Tony steps out to investigate but is attacked by a mysterious creature. In the cold, rainy night, in the desolate wilderness, the halted train receives terrifying passengers...
