In the socialist country of Cuba, Juan (played by Alexis Díaz de Villegas), a middle-aged man living at the bottom of society, is a failure. He is divorced from his wife, and his daughter Camila (played by Andrea Duro) shows him no respect. Juan spends his days hanging out with two bad friends, Lazaro (Jorge Molina) and California (Andros Perugorría), with no hope for the future. One day, the peaceful city suddenly is filled with panic as a mysterious zombie virus spreads uncontrollably, transforming all infected humans into bloodthirsty zombies. While people are terrified and eager to escape the city, Juan comes up with a way to make money. He gathers friends and other citizens to form a small company that helps normal people who cannot bear to see their loved ones turn into zombies. His business thrives, and his relationship with his daughter gradually improves... This film won the Silver Raven Award at the 2012 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, Best Actor Award (Alexis Díaz de Villegas) at the 2012 Portuguese Fantastic Film Festival, and the Audience Award at the 2012 Miami Film Festival.
