A group of five, including Whitney Miller (played by Amanda Righetti) and her boyfriend Mike (played by Nick Mennell), heads to Crystal Lake for a holiday, but their joyful vacation soon turns into a bloody massacre when the killer Jason (played by Derek Mears) emerges from the shadows and starts to kill the young people one by one. Six weeks later, college student Trent (played by Travis Van Winkle) and his friends return to the cabin at Crystal Lake for a wild party, where they encounter Clay (played by Jared Padalecki), who is searching for his sister Whitney.
