Idris Elba's character, Evans, is described as a "malignant narcissist" who "does not hesitate to use violence" to attract women's attention. After his bail application is denied, he escapes from a transport vehicle and goes to his former lover's house to seek revenge. After completing his revenge, he appears at Terry's doorstep on a dark, rainy night.
