Sarah (Susan Sarandon), dedicating her life to researching the elixir of life, unfortunately, cannot save John, who ultimately dies. The beautiful and sexy Sarah catches Marianne's attention, but Sarah does not want to become a vampire like Marianne. To rebel against Marianne, Sarah chooses to commit suicide.
