After divorcing her husband, Juliet (Hilary Swank) finds her life in a downturn. To lift her spirits, she decides to move. In the new environment, with new neighbors and the friendly and kind landlord Max (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Juliet finally feels a release from her long-held burdens. As time passes, strange things begin happening around Juliet, and a sense warns her that an evil stranger is watching her every move.
