Comprising five unit stories, GOOD TAKE is an innovative work by a new generation of Hong Kong directors. It includes director Cheng Kwok-kiu's "Cement," which tells the chilling tale of officer 9413 (played by Chow Pak-ho) investigating a case at a report location, only to be left with the sound of a phone ringing and no one in sight; director Wong Chi-hung's "The Wedding Banquet," a story about a child who accompanies his father (played by Cheung Siu-fai) to his mother's new wedding banquet, capturing the innocence of childhood and the helplessness of adulthood; director Wong Chun's "Good Take," which pays tribute to veteran film workers through the life of a character played by actor Lo Hoi-pang; director Yang Lung-cheng's "Not Necessarily," which reconstructs violent and bloody scenes through contrasting styles and colors; and director Wong Ching-fo's "Scared Ghost," where Charlene (played by Charlene Choi) challenges a one-night adventure in a haunted house, encountering Chinese zombies, a long-haired Sadako, and a girl with braids, resulting in both scares and laughter! Each of the five stories has its own unique style and flavor!
