Jenny (played by Sophie Marceau) is a beautiful writer living in France, sharing a happy home with her husband Dio (played by Andrea Di Stefano) and their two children. However, recently, Jenny feels an unbearable amount of pressure. Clients' demands prevent her from writing freely, and gradually she notices that everything around her begins to change—rooms, her husband, children, and even her own appearance become unfamiliar. Jenny's hysteria erases the joy in the home, leading to the end of her marriage. One day, Jenny's appearance completely transforms into that of an exotic woman with black hair and striking eyes (played by Monica Bellucci). By chance, she sees a photo at her mother’s house and decides to travel to Italy in search of her true origins…
