However, the success of this film came swiftly, credited to the director's creativity, particularly highlighted in the climactic amusement park battle against zombies, which is highly entertaining. The stars of "Zombieland," Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin, have all confirmed their willingness to return for the sequel, although the script is still in development, with filming expected to begin in the first half of 2010. Recently, director Ruben Fleischer revealed in an interview that the sequel to "Zombieland" is expected to officially start filming by the end of 2010. "We’re in talks with the producers, and we have some ideas that they really like. We will definitely shoot this sequel in 3D. Sony now has its own 3D department, and we’ll be visiting Sony’s 3D department on Tuesday, March 2nd. I know the whole original cast is excited to return for the sequel; it will be a movie with a very exciting and fun filming process. The script is about to start development, and I hope we can officially begin shooting 'Zombieland 2' by the end of this year or early next year."
