In order to help her good friend Xiao Meng (Okamoto Rei) vent her frustrations, high school girl Nishinomiya Aoi (Gori Kawai) seeks out the school's top handsome guy Kogayama Shōsei (Yamazaki Kento) to confront him, but accidentally injures him. After much effort, Aoi brings Shōsei to her home, only to discover that this mischievous boy lives right next door. When Aoi accidentally causes a fire while cooking for Shōsei, he, having nowhere else to stay, moves into Nishinomiya's house. Thus, the two high school students begin their awkward cohabitation. Shōsei seems to particularly enjoy teasing Aoi, while Aoi gradually shifts from initial dislike to affection for him.
