While going through his father's belongings, John (played by James Caviezel) discovers an old radio that his father used 30 years ago. As he fiddles with the frequency, he unexpectedly connects with a young man named Frank, who turns out to be his father from 30 years in the past. After a long night of conversation, John realizes that time and space have become entangled, and he is indeed speaking to his father from 30 years ago. John is overjoyed and successfully helps his father avoid the disaster he faced 30 years ago. When he wakes up, he is astonished to see his father, now old and gray, in a picture frame, knowing he has succeeded. However, unexpectedly, history has been rewritten. John saved his father, but his mother died years ago in a serial killing case. When John contacts his father again through the radio, intending for him to stop his mother from being murdered, his father unexpectedly becomes a suspect!
