Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is a human who was abducted into outer space as a child. Under the guidance of his adoptive father, Yondu (Michael Rooker), he becomes the ultimate rogue, calling himself "Star-Lord." During a mission, he steals a mysterious orb, making him the target of bounty hunters Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), while the mysterious Gamora (Zoe Saldana) also has her eyes on the orb.
