Frank (played by Joe Spinell) lives a dependent life with his mother. Although she often abuses him, Frank has a deep attachment to her. In a tragic accident, his mother dies, and the long-repressed twisted nature of Frank finally erupts in his overwhelming grief; he unleashes his sadness and anger through killing. Frank often lures unsuspecting young women to his home, kills them, and brutally damages their bodies, actions that allow him to relieve the pressure in his heart and mend the pain of his memories. One day, Frank encounters a woman named Anna (played by Caroline Munro), and it becomes clear that he has chosen her as his next target. Frank launches a passionate pursuit of Anna, who quickly gives in.
