Nick (played by Eric Lively) celebrates his girlfriend Julie's (played by Erica Durance) birthday with friends in the countryside, but on the way back, an accident occurs, and Julie tragically suffers fatal injuries. Nick is devastated. Soon a year passes, and one day Nick discovers that he can return to the past by looking at old photos. He uses his newfound ability to rewrite history, allowing Julie to avoid the disaster. Although his girlfriend's revival excites Nick immensely, life's troubles continue to ensue. Due to his previous experiences, Nick keeps changing history, hoping that life will unfold according to his desires. However, the results are often contrary to his intentions, leading to even bigger problems. Will Nick accept the arrangements of fate?
