In a remote town in Ireland, 11-year-old Neve discovers she is the sole survivor of a bloody massacre that killed her parents and brother. Suspecting a group of menacing vandals, the police ignore Neve's explanation that the house is the true culprit. To help ease her trauma, dedicated neighbors Nat and Lucas take her under the supervision of a social worker. The icy landscape makes it difficult to find peace and health for the couple, and the terrifying dangers continue to mount.
