Orphan siblings Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton), who eliminated the candy house witch in their childhood, have become the greatest nemesis of evil witches over the years. While helping the town of Augsburg find missing children and uncovering the witches, the siblings discover that a "Blood Moon" (lunar eclipse) will occur in three days, an immensely important and sacred moment for the witches. The two quickly spring into action, while the sheriff, who dislikes them, gathers a group to track down the witches.
