The T-virus runs rampant in the Hive and quickly disrupts the calm of Raccoon City on the surface, with zombies beginning to emerge among the crowd. The Umbrella Corporation seals off the entire city, planning to use nuclear weapons to destroy it in order to cover up the fact of the virus leak. Alice (Milla Jovovich), injected with the T-virus by Umbrella and endowed with abilities far beyond those of ordinary humans, wakes up from her slumber and teams up with the defense team member Valentine (Sienna Guillory) and journalist Terri to find a way out amidst the chaos of Raccoon City. Meanwhile, Umbrella scientist Dr. Ashford requests help from Alice and defense team member Carlos (Oded Fehr) to rescue his daughter Angela, whom the company abandoned in the city, in exchange for a means of escape. However, Umbrella has sent a "Nemesis," modified by environmentalist Matt, to stop all of this...
