The T-virus runs rampant in the Hive and quickly disrupts the calm of Raccoon City on the surface, with zombies beginning to emerge among the crowd. The Umbrella Corporation seals off the entire city, planning to use nuclear weapons to destroy it in order to cover up the fact of the virus leak.
