Living in 2037, 6262 (played by Xia Wenxi) accidentally crashes into a time tunnel after an argument with her husband. Confused by the strange sights around her, she soon meets Fang Zhongxin (played by Fang Zhongxin), who runs a candy factory, and learns that she has traveled back to 1987, 50 years in the past. 6262, under the alias Lu Yi, temporarily stays at Fang Zhongxin's home. To find a way back, Lu Yi reveals her background to Fang Zhongxin, who agrees to help her look for a scientist to return her to 2037. During her time there, Lu Yi witnesses her mother's childhood and feels deep sympathy for her unfortunate mother. It turns out that Lu Yi can go back at any time; however, Fang Zhongxin has fallen in love with her and wants her to stay by his side longer. Lu Yi still misses her child in 2037, and the government from Lu Yi's world has begun to take action.
